Reservation policies

•Please note that by submitting your credit card information you agree to our reservation/service and cancellation policies. Your credit card will be charged for the entire amount of the reservation in advance at booking time in order to guarantee your reservation. Your payment will be to Comercial OPECU S.A., and your bill will state: Hotel IslaVerde, COMERCIAL OPECU S.A.

• Your reservation is guaranteed for late arrival. Isla Verde Hotel will provide accommodation to the person under whose name the reservation was made ("Lead Passenger"), and to accompanying persons as per the exact amount of adults and children booked into each room. The lead passenger must be present at the time of check-in, and all guests must present a valid passport.

• At your check-in a valid credit card will be required as guarantee for any incidental charges such as phone calls, room service, laundry service, and others.

• Rates are subject to 13% tax.

• Children up to 8 years old are free of charge. We allow a maximum of de 2 children per room, shared with one or two adults. If you need a crib, please let us know in advance.

• Check out time is 12 noon.

General policies

• For your security we ask guests to deposit their valuables in the safety boxes provided in each room. The establishment is not responsible for the loss of objects or valuables that are not deposited in these boxes.

• Isla Verde Hotel reserves the right to remove any person or guest from the property due to immoral, illegal or disruptive behavior.

• Prostitutes and/or unregistered guests are not allowed in hotel rooms.

• Isla Verde Hotel is SMOKE FREE. By law smoking is not permitted on the hotel premises. A $200 deodorizing fee will be charged in case of a violation of this rule.

Cancellation Policies

• A full refund will be provided if written notice of cancellation is received 2 or more days prior to the arrival date.

• Between 1 and 2 days prior to arrival date, the first night of the reservation will be charged.

• Less than 1 day prior to arrival date, the first night of the reservation will be charged, plus 50% of all additional nights.

All cancellation or modification requests must be made in writing and sent by email to info@hotelislaverdecostarica.com

All cancellations must be confirmed as received by Isla Verde Hotel to be considered valid.

Holiday Season Cancellation Policies (from December 18th to January 8)

• Up to 15 days prior to the arrival date, a refund will be provided.

• Between 14 and 6 days prior to the arrival date, a refund will be provided if the hotel is able to resell the cancelled room(s).

• Between 6 and 0 days prior to the arrival date, there will be no refund.

No Show Policies

No Show and/or un-used room nights are non-refundable.

General conditions

• You accept financial responsibility for all transactions made under your name or account, and warrant that all the information you provide to us is true and accurate.

• In order to make a purchase you must be over 18 years old, be purchasing for yourself and have the legal capacity to make the transaction.

• We reserve the right to cancel your reservation after issued if payment is declined or incorrect cardholder details and billing information have been supplied.

Agreement

I have read and accept the terms and conditions of this reservation. I agree to pay as outlined in these terms and conditions the amount here forth authorized even though I have not signed the original charge note or voucher.
